Microsoft/
Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop

Overview

Designed led by James Tsai at Microsoft Hardware in 2012, the goal of this program was to deliver an updated ergonomic keyboard and mouse with a more compact design while adhering to strict ergonomic principles. It features a split keyboard layout that keeps wrists and forearms relaxed, along with a cushioned palm rest for wrist support. Engineered to reduce and correct wrist pronation, the domed keyboard form enhances comfort and mobility. The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop stands as the industry benchmark in this category. A decade since its initial release, it remains one of the best-selling ergonomic keyboard and mouse sets on the market in 2023.
