Overview

Industrial design led by James Tsai during his time at Microsoft Surface in 2012, Surface Touch Cover 2 was the world’s first spill-resistant, thinnest (3.25mm) pressure-sensitive keyboard cover with backlight on the market. Its pure and iconic design was the result of a collaborative effort between engineering, reliability/testing, design functions, and contract manufacturers. James was responsible for guarding the industrial design intent from the early proof of concept to mass production.
